After working in correctional facilities with incarcerated individuals, Dr. Chu now assists attorneys with a wide range of issues that arise in criminal or civil cases. Her expertise in psychopathology (the relationship between mental illness and criminal behavior) helps attorneys increase their understanding of defendants' motivations and actions. Dr. Chu served as a mental health consultant in multimillion-dollar court cases.

If you are an attorney, schedule your consultation session to receive invaluable insights and recommendations to augment your case strategies and understand the impact a skilled forensic psychologist can have on your case. We review all cases and require a consultation before determining whether we can take your case. We provide forensic psychological services to the law firm, which is our client. We do not represent the litigant.
A 30-minute ($250) or 50-minute consultation ($500) can be booked as a telephone call or a virtual session.

In addition to the fee schedule listed below, Dr. Chu may accept alternative fee agreements depending on the particular agency, law firm, or court. Such a determination will be made on a case-by-case basis and requires a contractual agreement between both parties.

$500 -Hourly for Deposition Testimony
$380 - Hourly for Deposition Preparation Time
$700.00 - Hourly for Trial testimony and $550.00 plus expenses -Hourly for travel time.
An advance payment of $700.00 is required at least five (10) working days prior to the deposition.

CANCELLATION POLICY
​We require 7 calendar days prior to All forensic psychological services including deposition, forensic interviews or rescheduled testing appointments) in the written notice. Any time after 7 calendar days is subject to the full applicable fee. No-shows, late cancellations, and failed appointments are charged the same fee (full applicable fee).
