Malingering Evaluations
In legal matters, individuals may intentionally present themselves as more impaired—or more psychologically intact—to influence case outcomes. For this reason, malingering assessment is a standard component of forensic evaluation. Using validated psychological instruments, structured forensic interviewing, and formal symptom and performance validity testing, we assess the credibility of reported symptoms and determine whether they reflect genuine impairment, exaggeration, or intentional feigning. Findings are presented in clear, objective, and forensically defensible language appropriate for litigation and administrative proceedings.
